I have many hobbies. Some of these have to do with water because my family has a place at the Colorado River, which is on the border line of Arizona and California. These include, waterskiing, fishing, jetskiing, intertubing, driving the polaris, swimming, boating, and just floating down the river in a life jacket. What we do is we go up the river and then just go in the water and float home. It's pretty fun and relaxing.
That is just a few of my hobbies. I also enjoy many types of hunting. Some hunting I have done is quail (not a personal favorite), dove (pretty fun: all we do is sit in tall alfalfa and shoot them as they fly over us. It is hard to adjust to their speed though), rabbit (really fun: We drive down a dirt road and when they run across the road we shoot them with pellet guns. Some even stop in the middle of the road.), and deer hunting (the ultimate experiance)In deer hunting we have lots of gear like a gun (rocket science), a knife to clean out the deer we get, good camouflage, binoculars, and food. I have gone hunting for deer 3 years now and only got one deer. That shows just how challenging they are. If you are an animal rights actavist, or a vegetarian, I don't mean to offend you, but you are shallow minded. I'm also a "Eat what you kill" person. I can't stress that enough. Some people call me a killer. It's not like the meat is wasted. I can't stand people who go hunting, take the life away from an animal and then leave it there to rot. That just plain sucks
I am a rock-n-roll lover and one of the few teenagers of the 90's that like the Beatles. I also like queen, led zepplin, and the doors. As a matter of fact, I am listening to Arrow 93.1 right now. I also like alternative and hard rock like KROQ. Just as strange as liking the beatles, I also like jazz. Not slow jazz but really fast and uppeddiy jazz. If it's slow, I get too bored of it. I developed this taste of music when I joined the Servite High School Band. When I went into band I grew an appreciation for the hardwork some people put into this kind of music.
I also enjoy cimentography. Me and my friends put together a comedy movie about 54 minutes long. Of course it wasn't that good, but it was a lot of fun.
I am also very active in the Servite Mighty Friar Band. I am in the marching band, pep band (for football and basketball games), parade band, concert band, and jazz band. Oh yeah, I play the trumpet. It's a lot of fun. During my freshman year, the band won every competition except for the first one we had. My sophomore year, we lost some good players to college and had a new director. We lost every competion. We'll see how this year goes.
I live about 30 minutes away from Servite by the freeway when there is no traffic. I don't have a car yet [probably due to the fact that I don't even have a licence (probably due to the fact that I don't have a permit)]
I'm also in boy scouts. Most people think this is stupid, gay, and retarded, but I "What do they know." If they were in it and didn't worry so much about impressing others, they would probably like it. I'm an eagle scout, senior patrol leader and troop instructor. I mainly like boyscouts because I get to go camping, and I love the great outdoors. This is also a good reason I go hunting. I currently have 32 badges and hold a very high reputation in my troop.
